Honorary & Life Members
Honorary Membership
The association may admit as an honorary member any person whom the association may desire in this manner.
Honorary members are nominated by the NZAO council to the AGM, and those nominated are elected by a majority vote at the meeting.
Honorary membership ends at the subsequent AGM, however the Council at its discretion may by resolution continue such honorary membership.

Life Membership
Any member who has conferred some extraordinary service to the association may be elected as a life member.
Nomination for life membership is by the NZAO council to a general meeting of members and the election is by two-thirds majority of those present.
